In 2020, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors held a series of three listening sessions for the community on county services and budget priorities.

Community members shared lived experiences with systemic racism and social injustice that impacts healthy communities. Residents also shared significant impacts resulting from the pandemic, including loss of employment and closures affecting businesses and in-person school instruction.

The listening sessions will inform county officials as they shape the county’s organization, budget and services for the next year and beyond.

Board of Supervisors declares systemic racism a public health crisis.  Read the resolution.
