Planning & Zoning Requirements
Before any new business is established, the business owner needs to check with the Planning Department about zoning requirements. Visit the Planning Department’s website
Fictitious Business Names
Contact the County Clerk to file a fictitious business name, at (951) 486-7000 or find the nearest office location.
State law requires that within 30 days after a Fictitious Business Name Statement has been filed, the registrant shall publish a copy of the statement in a newspaper of general circulation in the county in which the principal place of business is located. A list is available on the clerk's website.
Business Personal Property Taxes
Businesses should contact the Assessor's Business Division by phone at (951) 955-6210 or through email to report your location and mailing address for property tax purposes.
